Important instructions  Respect your teacher and pay attention during lecture.  Don’t wear your abaya in the classroom.  Attend the lecture on time, and if you are late by 10 minutes, you will be marked as ABSENT for one Hour.  Switch off your Mobile phone in the class.  Bring your Chrome book, with full charge to every lecture.  Solve all the assigned activities in MylabsPLUS (Pearson).  You are not allowed to eat or drink during class.  Chewing the gum is not allowed in the class.  Submit your Assignments and Project on time.  Don’t be absent for Quizzes and Exams. 3

Registration to Pearson:  Teachers will register the students to access Pearson’s website and use MylabsPlus, using student’s PNU account.  To access the wireless network at PNU and to use the Chromebook, activate your PNU during first week Creating a Gmail and OneDrive account:  Create a new Gmail account using your Group Name and Id Num Eg.  Make sure that the password is : Group name and Eg. (letter QR must be capital)  Create a One-Drive account using the above Gmail account and password. 6

Attendance and DN Policy  All students will be allowed to take a Bonus Quiz (Theory, for all modules) at the end of week 13. The lowest Quiz grades can be replaced by the Bonus Quiz marks.  Students with attendance greater than 95% (or Absence <=5% ), will be allowed to take a Double BONUS Quiz, for any ONE of the modules. Warning Policy: The student will not be allowed to take the final examination if her absences exceeds 25%.  First Warning : Students must sign a first warning if absence is 9 Hours or more.  Second Warning : Students must sign a second warning if absence is 18 Hours or more.  DN : A student will considered as DN if her absence is 23 Hours or more. 8

Self-Learning Project (10 marks) 9 Follow the guidelines provided by the teacher. Read the instructions, rules and requirements for each category of project. Choose the team members and a team leader. Select a suitable topic and get approval from teacher. Select the type of project and the type of programs needed. Install the programs on your laptop. Attend Workshops for selected programs. Follow up with teacher as you progress with the project. Complete the project and submit it as per the assigned date.
