Educ. –The next course asks a different question: HOW DO I TEACH? TED 377 Management in Sec. Educ. –The third course will address the third and maybe hardest question: HOW DO I MANAGE?

5 Syllabus: Evaluation Modules (25%): 7 modules. Presentation Activities (35%): In order to increase student experience and proficiency in planning and delivery of instruction, students will present/teach various short topics in front of the class. Demonstration Lessons (40%): Students will prepare a unit of instruction and lessons, and will present lessons in front of the class in a simulated classroom environment.

6 Syllabus: Evaluation Due to the in-class nature of many of these activities, students must be present to participate in the activities. Students who have unexcused absences will not be permitted to make up any of these activities. Even students with excused absences may not be able to complete the activities.

7 Syllabus: Evaluation There will be NO written final exam in this course. The demonstration lessons will serve the purpose of assessing your meeting the objectives of the course.

8 Syllabus: Evaluation Students are expected to submit modules by the due date established by the instructor. Points may be deducted for late submission.

9 Syllabus: Attendance Attendance will be taken at each class meeting. To be excused from class, students must report off by calling Mrs. Rose Hometchko (570-674-6270) and by contacting the instructor (either by phone or by e-mail).
