Kodak’s First Professional Digital Camera (1990)

The “DCS” (aka the “DCS 100”) The original Kodak Digital Camera System (DCS) was first publicly shown and demonstrated at Photokina 1990 in Germany. The DCS was based on the Nikon F3 camera body, joined with a Kodak high performance CCD, and electronics. The modified camera was tethered to a “convenient digital storage unit”.
