This image is a map of the slave trade. All of the slaves were forced to go to America and the west indies. The reason why they went to the west indies as well as America is because a white man was in charge of the west indies. Music played a very important in the slaves life and the reason is that it was a way of life and to express their unhappiness. The thing that made Africa slaves life's horrible was by sailing in ships and sold to work on farms with no break.

The popular instrument they played was the drums and it was played exciting rhymes.jawbones became scrappers when the teeth were scraped with keys or metal objects.
