About the slaves Thousands of Africans went to America in the 18 th and 19 th century because they were going to be slaves in America. They were separated from there kids and wife's. life was horrible for the Africans because they being controlled by awful people. They weren't to paid or godly fed which meant millions of people were dying because of slavery.

Where they came from and how they got there. The slaves were shipped to north America in tiny cramped ships causing some to die, they also were starved to death maybe they only get a bit bread and butter. If anyone dies while there on the journey they throw there body into the ocean so there ships wont smell to bad(it already smelled bad from the slaves because of there sweat).

The creation of jazz Music played an important part in the lives of Africans slaves because the song expressed there feelings. After they finished working for there masters they would all meet by the riverside to sing till dawn then separate and meet again, the thought seeing the family and friends motivated them to work quicker so they could go to the riverside but sometimes they weren't allowed to go which broke there hearts not seeing there family.

Blues music The blues music was made up from different chords which all used varies of different chords. The different chords that were used were Arperrio chords, Melody line and the Scale. In the arpeggio chord there are C,F,G In the melody line there are G,D,D#,G and in scale there is C3,D#,F,F#,G,A#,C4. All those were used to play the blues music. Jazz sounds like a groovy tune because it is everyone dances to it.

Blues music- what was instruments were used? Blues music didn’t need a lot of instruments, some of the instrumented were made by the slaves like a jaw bone of animal which was turned into a percussion instrument because when the teeth were scrapped with keys or any metal object it made a sound so they used that instrument to sing with. They also had drums to make a beat they had shakers and tambourines so it created a lovely beat altogether which they sang too.
