Duties of the Chapter President-Elect O Must have thorough knowledge of the business of chapter, the division, and the association O Must have thorough knowledge of International, Division, and Chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules, as well as working knowledge of parliamentary procedure

Duties of the Chapter President-Elect O Acts as the chapter’s Membership Ambassador-at-Large at all chapter meetings O Be thoroughly familiar with the objectives and activities of Chapter committees O Should act as a confidante to the President on decision-making that affects all chapter members and be privy to all chapter business O In the absence of the President, presides at all meetings and assume the duties and power of the President

Duties of the Chapter President-Elect O Assumes the Presidency for the unexpired term of the President upon resignation, removal or death of that officer, if so provided for in the Chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules O Perform specific duties assigned by the President or as provided in the Chapter By- laws and Standing Rules O Should be copied on all messages sent by the President to chapter members

Duties of the Chapter President-Elect O Should be expected to attend all Division meetings including: Fall Seminar, Leadership Workshop, and Annual Meeting O Deliver to the incoming President-elect or Vice President, all pertinent files within the time specified in the Chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules, or if not stated, within 30 days from the date of installation O Side note… O Questions??????????
