BAMP Program Bonding Assistance Program Small Business Boot Camp - 5 Core and 3 Elective Courses Features capacity building courses to address challenges Mentor Protégé Program Provides guidance and advice to qualifying businesses in areas such as administration, organizational and operations management. Small Business Boot Camp – 5 Core and 3 Elective Courses $100 fee reimbursed upon graduation

Five Year Diversity Plan City Council approved an ordinance adopting the City’s Five Year Diversity Action Plan on January 17, Developed in partnership with the Fair Contractors Coalition which is comprised of community leaders/stakeholders, small business owners, and City staff from Capital Improvements Management Services (CIMS) and Economic Development Department (EDD). Developed in response to the lack of participation of African American, Asian and Native American firms on 2012 Bond Program.

Goals of Diversity Action Plan Increase the number of minority and woman- owned firms in the City’s Central Vendor Registry Increase the participation of minority and woman- owned firms as prime contractor/consultants and subcontractors/sub-consultants. Outreach emphasis would be to African American, Asian and Native American small business firms.
