10/4/2015p. 2 Fun facts about Uganda The Republic of Uganda, a country in East Africa, bordered in the East by Kenya, North by South Sudan, by the Democratic Republic of Congo in the West, Rwanda in the Southwest and Tanzania in the South. It is in the heart of the Great lakes region, and is surrounded by three of them, Lake Edward, Lake Albert, and Lake Victoria. While much of its border is lakeshore, Uganda is Land locked with no access to the sea. Uganda is ethnologically diverse, with at least forty languages in usage.
