LOCOG Media Bus Service  Approximately 17,500 Broadcasters + 5,800 Press  Serviced from LOCOG Depot at Royals Business Park  Onward service from Media Bus Mall and Media Transport Hub Non-secure service  Utilises a mixture of vehicles, approximately 691 across the UK  Olympic Games13 July-15 August & Paralympic Games 26 August-12 September 2012 No service currently scoped during transition period 24-hour services during operational times

Media Transport Hub – Overview  Located on roadways around Russell Square Gardens  Strategically placed to service Media Accommodation  Peak service - Up to 120 buses and coaches  Servicing the Press, estimated at 5,000  16 th July-15 th August 2012, 24-hour services Media hotels to the Hub on foot or by taxi Hub onwards by bus or coach to the venues, and IBC/MPC Hub to IBC/MPC is the only 24hr service Peak hours will be 06:00 -10:00 & 18:00 – 22:00  Proposed pre-loading areas on Montague St, Malet St Cardington St and Euston Station  Planning Application agreed

Access during the operation of the hub  Pedestrian access largely as normal  Exception is north and west sides of square, where it will be managed to allow frontage access, and encourage alternative routes where possible  No permitting for pedestrian access  Vehicle access within restricted area by permitting system  Allows access for those who require it, whilst minimising background traffic  Detail of permitting being worked through with LB Camden  Deliveries will be granted access into the restricted area where necessary  We will communicate with local residents and businesses about the best times of the day to access the restricted area for deliveries etc. At peak times there may be a delay to wait for congestion to clear  There will be some other changes to the road network around Russell Square, to enable the ORN to operate. Southampton Row/ Woburn Place and Euston Road will be open to all traffic, but they will have a Games Lane and some other restrictions such as no right turns and stopping restrictions.
