Super G3 Fax Board  Having a G3 Super Fax board installed on an imageRUNNER ADVANCE device allows the user to: –Send and receive Fax’s directly to the machine –Scan and Fax documents at the device –Store a Fax on the device –Categorise incoming Fax’s based on the senders number  imageRUNNER ADVANCE* device can become a‘host’ device for up to 4 other devices on the same network –The other devices will need to have the ‘remote fax viewer’ installed  Benefits –No need to invest in single function fax devices –With one fax board installed on the host device you can send and received (receive)documents on up to 5 devices in total * imageRUNNER ADVANCE C2000 series can not be a host device Index Page

Client Device Networked Machine with Remote Fax Viewer Issues To be Aware : Host machine is connected to the external phone line : All Client machines have Remote Fax viewer installed : iR–ADV C20XX series cannot be a Host machine. Remote Fax  Fax server integration means that companies are able to purchase one fax board for their first imageRUNNER ADVANCE device and then up to 4 other imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices on the same network can share the functionality of the fax board.  Allows for a reduction in running costs as well as reducing the amount of hardware that needs to be purchased.  Activating Remote fax is an easy process of an LMS activation at the machine and no hardware installation is required. Auto Forwarding  The imageRUNNER ADVANCE device can be set to automatically forward received faxes that match the specified forwarding conditions to any destination using the desired send setting.  Forwarding conditions:  Faxes can either be set to auto forward ALL documents to a specific location, mailbox, address or:- –designated numbers like an area prefix –Exact match on fax number –Fax numbers that end/start with certain numbers –To disregard faxes from certain numbers Index Page

2 nd Line Fax Line  Installing the 2 nd fax board on an imageRUNNER ADVANCE device will allow the user to send and receive faxes at the same time using the two lines  The two lines on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE will have separate phone numbers  This will allow for a more efficient functionality of the machine as well as reducing the amount of fax machines and lines required. Storage on the Machine  The imageRUNNER ADVANCE machines have the ability to store received faxes rather than automatically printing them out.  Benefits –Only ‘wanted’ faxes are printed, –Junk faxes can be deleted rather than printed. –Documents can be viewed via the device RUI Fax stored on device x KeepDelete View via RUI Index Page

Fax Documents from a PC  “The functionality of a PC connected to an imageRUNNER ADVANCE machine allows it to send documents straight from the computer through the fax line.” ( don’t like the wording of this paragraph ) see below, though needs tweaking I think!!  With an imageRUNNER Advance machine, you are able to utilise the fax line on the device directly from your PC via a Fax Driver, so faxes can be sent without having to go up to the device.  This removes the need to print out and re-scan the document through the fax device, reducing wastage and costs as well as allowing the workforce to work more efficiently. NB : Not Available if the host machine has a Fiery installed. Index Page
