India’s Muslim Empires

Delhi Sultanate Gupta Empire fell around 550 Arabs conquered the Indus Valley in 711 1000 Muslim Turks and Afghans invaded 1100s Sultan of Ghur defeated Hindu armies and made Delhi his capital The Delhi Sultanate lasted from 1206-1526

Muslims and Buddhists Clash Muslims attacked Buddhist monasteries which led to the decline of Buddhism
