Council Rock Staff Development Working to empower staff with knowledge and skills to prepare children of today to become contributing members of the world community tomorrow.

Technology Integration Goal- to integrate technology to enhance learning of all students Three year induction program focuses on the development of teacher technology competencies At least one technology tool incorporated into each session Co-planning opportunities and appropriate work time provided to support teachers in integration

Induction Year One Partnership with Holy Family University 12 evening sessions Mentor Teachers Year Two Choice of evening program with Holy Family University or in-district workshop during the day Year Three Three in-district workshops days Follow-up coaching provided for teachers in all three years

Year One Partnership with Holy Family University Started in 2005 Purpose- to benefit teachers of Council Rock who participate in the induction program. Induction Program serves as a three credit graduate course offered through Holy Family University. Creates greater continuity in the new teacher’s classroom & limits the number of days teachers are out of the classroom. Teachers earn Act 48 hours as well as three graduate credits upon completion.
