5 Environmentally Responsible Publishing Other Green Initiatives Recently formed an employee Green Committee Currently conducting a carbon audit Prioritizing and implementing suggested environmental initiatives Established tighter inventory controls to reduce waste In the last year at 1745 Broadway, we have: Replaced 4,000 light bulbs with energy efficient lower wattage bulbs Adjusted air and water temperature controls Switched to environmentally friendly green cleaning products Sourced 15% of our electricity from wind power Were also looking at our warehouses: Recycling approximately 50 million pounds of paper and corrugate per year Timers / motion sensors and 1,400 new energy efficient bulbs The paper policy is part of a larger RH environmental strategy
