What is a Job Application? An application for a job. Application: is a verbal or written request for assistance or employment or admission to a school. Provides personal information to employers about a job applicant. Employers provide the applications form.

How do you get a job application? Email Telephone Internet In Person Make sure to dress appropriately when you go into a business to get an application.

What’s on a job application? Name Phone number Address Age Position requested Availability Education Work experience References Criminal information

How do you fill out a job application? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKcm6KnDJk8 First get a job application. Second read the application. Follow directions. Start from the top and move your way down. Type or print Check spelling and grammar Get references if needed.

Filling out a application cont. List information from newest to oldest. List your qualities and skills. Ask questions. Use accurate contact information. Create a Resume.

How to hand in the application. Find out when business is open. Check the due date. Dress appropriately. Don’t chew gum. Double check application. Be friendly. Make a follow-up phone call. Be ready and prepared for an interview.

Can you do it? Complete the job application and hand it in. Complete hand out notes. Be confident when you go to get a job application, and fill it out honestly and best to your ability.
