CCLVET Cross Cultural Learning and Teaching in Vocational Education and Training Overview LEONARDO DA VINCI Transfer of Innovation AGREEMENT NUMBER – LLP-LDV-TOI-08-AT-0021 PROJECT NUMBER – AT1-LEO

Aims Identify and transfer good practice examples from leading systems for vocational training and Higher Education to selected European countries and to the VET sector Create results on approaches to learning in all partner countries in the VET sector Create Results on teaching approaches successfully applied in multicultural classrooms

Aims To develop new and apply existing knowledge on learners and on teaching methods in order to develop useful products. Increase the competitiveness of the European education landscape through capacity building on individual and institutional levels. Promote and popularize cross cultural understanding and lifelong learning in general through relevant events and networks

Work Plan WP1: “Project management” ensures that CCLvET results are achieved n the proposed form within 24 months, with the contractual financial resources and efforts of the whole consortium.

Work Plan WP2: “Team knowledge transfer” initiates knowledge and experience transfer from former projects to CCLvET. Partners share their insights in the area of cross cultural learning and teaching styles.

Transfer Types

Work Plan WP3: “Sectoral and country knowledge transfer” sets the basis for a profound and successful sectoral and country transfer of existing products in the area of cross-cultural learning and teaching styles. Literature review, 700 valid surveys and focus groups in nine countries highlight special needs of cross-cultural learning and teaching styles in VET on a learner, trainer and policy level.

Work Plan WP4: “Content development for e-manual” builds on the results of WP3 in developing the contents of an e-manual for VET trainers in multicultural classrooms. The innovative contents is developed in eight languages (BG, CZ, EN, ES, GE, IT, SI, SK, TR).

Work Plan WP5: “Didactic and technical development of e-manual” develops a didactically and technically sound solution for the e- manual. To ensure a high usability for the target group, the usability is assessed according to ISO 9241 norm.

Work Plan WP6: “Pilot testing” tests the e-manuals through three activities: an exploratory WS, pilot workshops and an experimental case-study.

Work Plan WP7: “Adaptation and product finalization” integrates user feed-back provided in WP6 and adapts the e-manual contents according to the VET trainer needs. The adaptations will be re- translated and published on CD and the project website. WP6:

Work Plan WP8: “Dissemination and valorisation” covers activities such as a final conference, a book publication, academic publications, networking, development of a CCLvET updated website, a corporate design. WP6:

Work Plan WP9: “Quality management” Internal evaluations (QA indicator assessment and project impact assessment) and external evaluation (through an external expert)..

Project Handbook Includes all relevant administrative project details, and will be kept up to date throughout the project. Its latest version will always be uploaded and distributed. Results of Project Meetings and Task Distributions will be added to the current content regularly, as will be any changes in the project plan or personnel. With the end of this kick off contact details of all project members will be included.
