WP 2 (12/11-05/12) Analysis and preparatory researches on the professional/occupational field of Automotive sector Includes the analysis at trans-national level of the different professional figures of workers in the national and regional VET systems of Automotive sector, to classify them within the EQF across Turkey, Germany and Italy, to identify the common European perimeter of professional figure, or cluster of professional figures, on which the project will focus and which will be concerned by the ECVET process to be activated within the project.

WP 3 (05/12-08/12) Definition of the ECVET action plan for the professional/occupational qualifications in Automotive sector Includes the activities aimed to define a coherent plan of activities for activating the ECVET process to the perimeter of professional figures operating in the European Automotive sector, defined in a shared way by the partners during the previous WP 2.

WP 4 (08/12-01/13) Design of professional qualifications in Automotive sector in terms of activities, tasks, competences, certification objectives, units of learning outcomes and related ECVET credits Includes to design the professional/occupational qualifications of Automotive sector previously identified within the WP 2. This activity will be realised following the strategies, activities and tools (particularly in this phase, the methods to design qualifications in units of learning outcomes with allocation of credit points, based on the ECVET technical specifications) defined within the WP 3 on the basis of best practices collected/analysed/selected for ECVET process in Automotive, to be concretely used by the partners to activate and develop the ECVET process for the concerned professional qualifications.

WP 4 (08/12-01/13) Design of professional qualifications in Automotive sector in terms of activities, tasks, competences, certification objectives, units of learning outcomes and related ECVET credits The main methodological and operative reference will be the LdV ToI project “Highlight the Competences”, in particular for the methods for qualification design in units of learning outcomes with allocation of points, based on the ECVET technical specifications, in turn based on the “Guidelines for the development of EU common certificates and other reference tools” developed within the Sustainable professionalisation LdV pilot project and framework).

WP 5 (01/13-04/13) Definition and signature of the Memorandum of Understanding - MoU ECVET for professional qualifications in Automotive sector In compliance with the ECVET Action Plan for Automotive sector defined within the WP 3, this WP will allow the definition and formalisation of the Memorandum of Understanding - MoU ECVET (first step of the ECVET process) concerning the professional qualifications previously identified and designed, in a shared way at European level by the partners, in the professional field of Automotive sector.

WP 5 (01/13-04/13) The activities to be realised at this aim include: - the preparation of a complete draft of the MoU, to be realised on the model experimented by the LdV ToI project “Highlight the Competences” and containing: an introduction relating to background and general context of MoU, existing provisions for MoU at European level, definitions, general and specific objectives of MoU; the form and content of MoU in terms of participants, purpose, ratification and effectiveness; the qualification, designed during WP 4, to establish the European correspondence for the assessment, transfer, and accumulation processes of learning outcomes achieved in formal, informal and non formal contexts (units, unit parts and related credits); the mechanisms to implement the MoU and for dialogue and administrative co-operation, the regulations relating to nationality, the revision of agreement and notice of termination;

WP 5 (01/13-04/13) The activities to be realised at this aim include: - the activities aimed to involve in the MoU, beyond the project partners, the public institutions competent in VET matter and the other interested organisations, particularly social partners and VET providers of the concerned sector at national, regional and local level; - the formalisation, by the partners and by the competent/interested organisations already involved, of the MoU concerning the professional/occupational qualifications (the official signature of the MoU will take place at the end of the WP 5, during the project meeting.

WP 6 (04/13-11/13) Pilot test on the enforcement of the Memorandum of Understanding - MoU ECVET for for professional qualifications in Automotive sector The experimentation will implement the whole ECVET process: - Learning Agreements ECVET: definition and signature (by workers and trainees/apprentices interested to recognition of professional/occupational qualification, by the related enterprises and by concerned VET providers) of the individual Learning Agreements ECVET describing, in compliance with the MoU, the training process in formal, informal and non formal contexts, and the related ECVET credits to be obtained to gain the qualification (ECVET 2nd step); a common model of Learning Agreements ECVET will be prepared by the Consortium;

WP 6 (04/13-11/13) Pilot test on the enforcement of the Memorandum of Understanding - MoU ECVET for for professional qualifications in Automotive sector - ECVET Credits Awarding: awarding to the involved workers and trainees/apprentices, by the concerned VET providers at the end of the training process, of the ECVET credits related to verified learning outcomes, utilising Europass Certificate Supplement (ECVET 3rd step); a common model of ECVET Credits Awarding will be prepared by the Consortium - Transfer, validation and accumulation of the awarded ECVET credits in the sectoral and territorial VET systems involved in the MoU, in compliance with the national and regional rules on certification ways and procedures, formal, non-formal and informal learning validation, qualification bodies (ECVET 4th step).

WP 6 (04/13-11/13) Pilot test on the enforcement of the Memorandum of Understanding - MoU ECVET for for professional qualifications in Automotive sector These experimentation will involve at least 100 individuals (workers + trainees/apprentices) in Automotive sector, in all target Countries. The pilot test process will have an intermediate milestone, represented by the Learning Agreements ECVET (a common model will be defined within the 19th month of project lifetime). WP will provide a final release of the whole ECVET pilot test, comprehensive of a critical analysis of the experimentation, based on evaluation questionnaires and interviews to all involved players (public institutions, sectoral social partners and VET providers, enterprises, workers and trainees/apprentices).

WP 7 (12/11-11/13) Quality management
a) Project Quality planning: shared definition by all the partners of activities and tools to manage and develop project quality in each phase and in the project as a whole (performance indicators, to measure intermediate and final results achieved with respect to needs of the target groups; monitoring activities and control targets; survey and control times; survey instruments; reporting systems); b) Enforcement of project quality plan and quality control: implementation of planned monitoring and surveys, with activities of physical monitoring (verification by means of performance indicators and result indicators), financial monitoring (survey and control of expenses in respect of the estimated cost for each partner and phase) c) technical-scientific monitoring (self-evaluation carried out by coordinators and supplemented by external formative evaluation by European VET expert), survey interventions to verify the level of satisfaction of the subjects involved in the various phases of the project and in particular of the addressees and final users.

Quality management WP 7 (12/11-11/13)
d) Corrective actions: proposed by each Consortium partner and - as regards technical scientific procedures - the external VET expert , corrective actions are evaluated, discussed and approved by the whole Consortium. This purpose will be served through a system of process-oriented self-evaluation by means of standardised feedback surveys and written documentation of project activities, which will be subject to approval by the partners involved and thus allow for additional reflection and self-assessment. The progress of the project work is evaluated by a comparison with the work packages. The quality reports of partners are reviewed by an external VET expert who provides advice for improvement of the technical/scientific part, where necessary. The external expert will compile the quality reports.

WP 8 (12/11-11/13) Dissemination & Sustainability of activities: Information to key actors on the quality, relevance and effectiveness of the project results - project website (see also WP 1), created during 1st project month, with 3 virtual areas: Consortium restricted area, for project management; working area open to subjects directly involved in the ECVET process activated by the project (workers and trainees/apprentices, VET providers, enterprises and social partner of Automotive sector, and public institutions competent in VET matter); public area open to all interested people across Europe; each project deliverable for public dissemination level will be published in the website in all the languages of target Countries;
