How can you help your child to settle into school? Take an interest in the work your child is doing at home. Set aside a regular time for homework to be done. Encourage your child to use the Study Planner. Set aside time for regular learning and revision of subject notes Let us know if your child has a problem e.g. the homework, a subject, friends, etc.

Get them to report any incidents of bullying straight away If a problem arises encourage them to seek informal advice from Pupil Support staff
