STB Uniform – received a letter today. Check the requirements and regulations, name items.
Equipment - pen, pencil, ruler, eraser, pencil sharpener (all in a pencil case), planner, scientific calculator, sketch book.

19. Student Progress
We are introducing a new “life without levels” approach to reporting on progress over time for each student at Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School.
This is a new system that has been adopted by many schools across the country and was developed as a part of a DfE innovation project.
We fully understand that the rate of change imposed on us in education can be confusing.

20. Student Progress
We want to let students and parents know the progress they are making in a simple and easy to understand way
We don’t want to limit what students think they can achieve, so don’t set ‘end of Year targets’ but end of school targets
We want to celebrate the progress of all students, from all starting points
We want students to understand that if they are currently not making expected progress, this doesn’t need to be a bad thing

Key Pieces of Work are completed to inform each assessment, recording and reporting window
Students are told when these are taking place and must prepare for them
Assessment cycles are called Working At (WA) points to determine how much progress a child is making at that moment in time
These happen 4 times a year and reported to parents
