Presentation transcript:

 In at least two paragraphs…..  Tell me why you chose your book  Explain the characters that were introduced and give me your impressions about each one.  Make some predictions about what you think will happen after reading

 Write a comprehensive (one page) summary on the events that happened in your novel so far.  Be sure to include major characters and character traits, important events, and any conflicts.

 A genre is a category of literature, such as realistic fiction, comedy, drama, thriller, mystery, fantasy, historical fiction, etc. Identify the genre of the book you have chosen and explain why this book/genre appeals to you.  (2 paragraphs)

 Garbage picking time!! Think metaphorically. Suppose you are rummaging through the trash of your main character. What would you find? Provide logical explanations of what you would likely find and why it would be there. Be creative!!
