2016 Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! - January 25-29, 2016 "Literacy Changes Our World"
Our theme "Literacy Changes Our World" encourages our students to connect literacy with all kinds of careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida is an annual event during which students, teachers, administrators, parents and volunteers take the opportunity during the week to encourage our students to keep reading and improving their skills. We know that if Florida's students are going to shoot for the moon and achieve great success they must have the literacy skills that 21st century careers demand.

3. Mascotte Elementary Charter School Reading Fair
Our Reading Fair will be similar to our Science Fair. Students will create a project board with information about a favorite book to encourage other students to read the book. Projects will be displayed in the media center on Literacy Night, January 28th.
