Need for accreditation of the programme Denmark Norway The Netherlands Sweden | 2

Criteria: The initial accreditation framework of NVAO Programme; cultural differences shown through discussions about the interpretation of the criteria and how to show that the programme meets the requirements Experts; the criteria worked well, but cultural differences regarding interpretation as well | 3

Self evaluation report Written as a joint project between the partners, and included information on the totality of the programme Programme; writing a self evaluation report for a joint programme is especially complicated when it is a new prog. Experts; good with information on the totality. Could have included even more information | 4

Expert panel Convened by NVAO 3 experts from The Netherlands (including a student), 1 from Sweden, 1 from Denmark and 1 from Norway. Expertise within the subject-/discipline, educational/pedagogical expertise and expertise from the professional field | 5

Site visit Leeuwarden in The Netherlands. Programme managers and teachers from all the partner institutions were present at the site visit Observer from the Swedish agency for QA of HE was present during the site visit. | 6

Comments about the site visit Programme;..too much oriented on the Dutch situation. It is a joint programme, so it must be regarded as a programme from the whole consortium. Experts; regarded as very positive | 7

Cooperation/ communication Important with guidelines both for experts and for the joint programme How to diminish differences in interpretation based on cultural differences? | 8
