MINIATURE RFID READER 1.55 Square Inch UHF Generation 2 ISO C Combination RFID Reader/Writer Communicates with Active and Passive Tags

UHF RFID Tag Reader/Writer Combination Passive AND Active EPC Gen 2 ISO C compatible Very small, about the size of a CF card Low and High power mode, 7, 22, and + 27 dBm output ASK / FSK Remotely controlled Tag or Reader Relay LED's enable quick installation and testing SPI and I 2 C I/O ports Options include Temp and Accelerometer Sensors and more Uses no circulator or shields Just press a single button to read tags Low Battery Signal POE Option Custom Designs and Firmware Possible Very low-cost Features & Applications Track boxes and shipments No need for manual inventory. Inexpensive passive tags and our readers can do the job

One application for this dual-mode ability would be to read passive and active tags at some remote location, and then transmit the tag data back to a host 1000 feet or more away, enabling multiple security and inventory applications. The Base can command the Mini Readers to Poll all Tags in their vicinity, Passive or Active. Mini ReaderActive TagPassive Tags The Mini Readers can also act as relay stations to cover large areas or multiple locations. The Mini Readers can also act as a Bi-directional active tag. The Reader module includes a Micro-controller with SPI and I 2 C interfaces, a programming header, and LEDs for system monitoring. A companion Development Board provides easy customization. Very few off-board parts are required. Features & Applications
