© beas group 2011 / Page 6 WEB Apps Service description For all technical questions connected to the installation of be.as WEB Apps, please see the installation manual. WEB Apps run on any device with an Internet connection and a current Internet browser. This could be mobile devices for stocktaking as well as PC's and devices for data collection (attendance or job times) The following functions are available: Stock transactions Manufacturing operations Stocktaking Quality control More will follow. There is no theoretical limit how many mobile devices can be run per server: It depends on the type of application.

© beas group 2011 / Page 7 WEB Apps Setup: Next steps The following steps are now necessary for a complete setup: - Set up the menus and menu groups - Set up locations - Device types - Configuration of the clients - be.as-server service For printing: - Set up locations - Set up reports For all technical questions connected to the installation of be.as WEB Apps, including troubleshooting, please refer to the installation manual

© beas group 2011 / Page 8 WEB Apps Setup: Menu groups You can create time depending menus, eg. at the morning only logon is available, at the evenening only logoff etc. These menus are combined to groups. Menu group Time recording 0:00-7:00 Only logon 7:00-15:00 Logon and Logoff 15:00-24:00 Only logoff Menu group Inventory Post in Charge off

© beas group 2011 / Page 9 WEB Apps Menu groups Time recording Terminal Mobile Device Menu group Time recording Firm allocation Employee 1 Post in Charge off Employee 2 Employee 3 Quality control You can firmly allocate a menu group to a device or make the menu group depending on the employee.

© beas group 2011 / Page 10 WEB Apps Setup: Menu groups This setting is made in WEB-Apps – WEB-Menu groups. Example: menu „warehouse“ for inventory transactions.

© beas group 2011 / Page 11 WEB Apps Setup: Menu groups Click on „modules“ to assign the Apps to a menu. By clicking new or double click on the menu item, ít is assigned to the menu group and is displayed in the window on the right. The sequence of assignment determines in which order the menu items will be displayed on the client.

© beas group 2011 / Page 12 WEB Apps Setup: Locations For using the print function, to the web clients a locations needs to be assigned. Print jobs are sent to that location. Setup through WEB-APPS - Web Clients – “location” tab. The location ID and possibly the printer is required, which is available there.

© beas group 2011 / Page 13 WEB Apps Setup: Types of devices Only for information purpose: You can set up types of devices and assign them to the clients. This has no effect on other functions.

© beas group 2011 / Page 14 WEB Apps Setup: Clients Clients are set up automatically at initial registration. You can complete the setup under WEB-Apps - WEB-Apps Setup.

© beas group 2011 / Page 15 WEB Apps Setup: Clients The following is required: - Location (for print jobs) - Menu type (according to personnel master or client) - Menu group, if at menu type „client“ has been chosen

© beas group 2011 / Page 16 WEB Apps Setup: Clients If you choose „personnel“ as menu type, the menu group is deposited in the personnel master.

© beas group 2011 / Page 17 WEB Apps Setup: be.as - Server All logical processes are performed by the be.as server. This is the usual be.as program, started in server mode. Thus it is ensured, that all customer-specific extensions are considered in the logical processes. For installation of the server please see the WEB Apps installation manual.

© beas group 2011 / Page 18 WEB Apps Print documents Via web clients you can also create documents, for example a goods receipt document after a goods receipt. You can deposit reports for any function. If several reports are existing, always the first is being printed. At postings, first the process is completed and the successful completion is reported to the client before printing is initiated. Thus, operations on the client are accelerated. The client is assigned a location and printing is performed at the printer assigned to this location. Setup may only be carried out on the station on which the be.as server service is running, because documents are created on this station. Printer drivers must be available at this station/server.

© beas group 2011 / Page 19 WEB Apps Print documents Setup: WEB-Apps Setup – Select an app – Click on „assign reports“ Now the reports to be printed can be deposited.

© beas group 2011 / Page 20 WEB Apps Print documents The default sales document report can be used for each transaction. Select the report and Api „B1DocumentGenerate“. No parameters are needed. For other reports parameters are required. The following variables are available: e_docentry (internal document number, eg. oige.docentry) e_modul_id (Apps-number ) e_pers_id (Personnel number) e_station_id (name of station/client) Assign all parameters, otherwise the parameter query windows opens on the server and the application stalls.
