Research and Projects I lecture the following subjects: MSc (IT) System Integration (I.e. Operating system and networking) Distributed Systems (DS) (I.e. distributed system and their configurations) Network programming (network systems, their software and programs ) Designing Heterogeneous software system (I.e. Using UML and OO platforms for software) Data communication and networks (DCN) (I.e. MSc Computer systems engineering)

My research interest In ACM distributed computing paper (Feldman 2005) the following challenges were presented as future trends in modern enterprises distributed computing Striving to increase the flexibility of developing applications using framework and standard system To achieve 1. Interoperability, 2.scalaibity 3. QoS 4. manage their infrastructure to become efficient Methods include Service base is the new approach:- for example grid, Web services, service-oriented architecture, software as services (SaS) SaS means the customer is only interested in the interface and the services levels – so the developer must provide optimal system and on demand- solution

My research interest DC must address the issue of legacy integration i.e. keeping the old stuff and adapting to new changes This disintegration and reintegration of system Issues include 1. security, 2. Network load and traffic management, use of XML etc Vertical and horizontal integration In Health paper (Crane 2003) the following challenges were presented as future trends Investigate computational and performances issues in Medical systems evaluating data security medical applications. Real time systems and integration of legacy system

My research interest Includes the following but not limited to: Development and evaluation of distributed systems ( i.e. Internet, mobile computing, databases and operating systems) Middleware for building reliable distributed system Infrastructure J2EE,.NET 2005, J2ME etc Optimization of Distributed Systems (i.e. Internet, medical information, wireless system and mobile systems; their protocols used by E-bay ) Investigate computational and performances issues in m-commerce and Medical systems Deployment of software agents and evaluating software agents applications.

My research interest Deploying intelligence agents in e-markets and medical applications (UML, AUML,) Developing secure, complex Internet and distributed systems using XML, SOAP etc Application of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques in Distributed system, e-commence and medicine. Network simulation and modelling using Mathlab, CNET, OPNET software (i.e. mobile computing and wireless system) Using computer systems and techniques to solve medical informatics issues (NfIT) or Integration health delivery systems

Specific research topics 1.Evaluating J2EE, DCOM,.NET as efficient middleware for distributed computer applications 2.Critical evaluation of middleware and intelligence software systems and agent application 3.Investigation of the infrastructures for the implementation of e-auction, e-banking, e-Health (NHS) 4.Systems Optimization ( i.e. Internet and e-auction protocols as E-bay, allocation of resources in medical field, optimising wireless and mobile system etc) 5.The use of Artificial intelligence mechanisms in distributed systems and medical systems 6.Deployment of software agents in e- commerce and m- commerce applications

Specific research topics 6.Design and application of Distributed Data warehouse 7.Application of artificial intelligence techniques in Data warehouse and medical informatics etc 8.Using UML, AUML and XML, SOAP to build complex distributed/Internet based applications and solve Business and Engineering issues 9.Network simulation using NS, OPNET, Matlab software 10.Modelling and developing wireless and mobile computing systems ( i.e. m-auction, m-banking, m-Health)
