WGs IPv6 Network storage P2P Measurement Multimedia Satellite Television Qos

IPv6 Online IPv6 monitoring New members: Taiwan AU has done numerous workshop. Use of 6to4 Korea will be deploying dual stack. IPv6 fat pipes are coming

Network storage WG No. Meeting. Proposed closure as there are other groups, eg. Grid, P2P that covers the area.

P2P WG Set-up the measurement of P2P storage and servers in APAN. Emphasis of the group is to provide platform and forum for open discussion on P2P. Move P2P to User community as it is more on the application then the underlying technology

Measurement WG Organised a session on measurement. No WG meeting. AMP has started in Japan. Working with NLANR.

Multimedia WG No Meeting at this conference.

Satellite WG Distance Learning Lectures with USM. TDMA-DAMA (SingAREN funded, partners, USM, UPM) – 5 th Quarter. VSAT Blower (NTU/TP collaboration with Prof Ong Jin Tiong). IPv6 Tunneling for TP staff and student network. Satellite IPv6 performance Measurements (with USM).

Satellite WG Enhance collaboration through updating members activities on WGs WWW, through information sharing Update and understand what each of us is doing individually Web Pages will be completed by Mid September 2002 Move towards more collaborations and support for distance learning over satellite networks and applications on satellite networks. (Collaborate with EDU and Manufacturing WG and Multimedia WG).

Multimedia WG No meeting at this conference.

Qos WG VOIP successful in AU. It has Qos using ToS bits. Supporting for video is been carried out with WFQ and LLQ. Osaka-NTU project has a dedicated link between the two places. Some projects, eg. MEG, SIBBS. Internet E2E performance. APAN JP joined Stanford Uni. high energy Physic group. Members should be remote hosts to the server at APAN-JP.

Internet End-to-end Performance Measurement Remote host Data repository ping iperf bbcp (memory to memory) bbcp (disk to disk) bbftp ssh active measurement Monitoring host Data reduction Analysis Reporting (Web based) Web access

General discussion Combining groups together Organised Multicast BoF, VoIP BoF at next meeting Comments on conference –Priority to WG in the programme –Organised single track for Technology WGs –Put related WGs next to each other.
