Structure & Practicalities: The Details  Two different Bachelor programmes  Common structure as interdisciplinary studies  Focus on the one hand on law and on the other hand business, diplomacy & international relations  Programmes comprise 180 ECTS credit points  Corresponds to 120 Latvian credit points  Entitles students to continue on RGSL Masters programmes  Additional requirements for entry to the one-year programmes  Tuition fee per year LVL  EURO 13

Structure & Practicalities: The Details  Mandatory and elective courses  Normally three courses at the same time  Can choose to follow an additional course  Each course lasts six weeks  Five class hours a week  Research work on assignments and class preparation  Exam at the end of the course  Overall duration of each programme is three years  Ending with a Bachelor thesis  Possibility of internships  Opportunities to attend public and open lectures  Erasmus exchange programme 14

Structure & Practicalities: The Details Important Dates  Studies to begin on 1 September 2011  Pre-selection will be decided on 15 April for applications received before 15 March 2011  Admission will be decided on 26 July for applications received before 28 June 2011  Later applications may be submitted for remaining available places 15 5% off tuition fee for applications received by 15 March!

Structure & Practicalities: The Details Application Requirements Applicants for Bachelor programmes should present the following documents:  Completed application form  Certified copies of diploma and diploma transcript with an English translation  Diploma should document proficiency at a minimum level of ECTS grade C for:  English  Mathematics (Law & Business)  Social Sciences (Law & Diplomacy)  Alternative documentation may be submitted  Application may be made before diploma is available  Motivation letter 16
