Ivor and the Great Rescue Once there was a building site. And in the building site worked a man called Ivor. Ivor was a very good builder and was very nice to the other workers. He is a very clever workman as he always wears his hard hat, thick trousers, big boots and florescent jacket.

One day there was a new worker at the building site. Ivor spotted that he was not wearing all his saftey equipment! “Oh no I must do something,” thought Ivor, “Or something really bad could happen.” As Ivor ran to get spare boots, florescent jacket, helmet, and thick trousers he saw that a pile of rubble was about to fall on the new worker!

Ivor ran up and gave the new worker the saftey helmet and thankfully the new worker (Barney) grabbed the helmet and was saved by Ivor Goodsite the amazing builder. Barney the new worker thanked Ivor very much. Remember…. Always wear a hard hat on a building site
