2. Once upon a time there was a dog. His name was Bob. Bob was a dog, a very nice dog.

3. He liked bones. He liked it when it rained.

4. There was a girl dog too. Her name was Charlotte. They were going to the park. It was a dog park.

5. Bob the dog was a nice dog. He liked to take all the dogs to the park. For some reason the dog pound people were there to take all the stranded dogs to the pound.

6. The dog pound people were coming to take him away. One of them was looking right at him. He was scared.

7. His Mom went there. It was a bad place. If he went there he would die. Then the dog pound people threw a net at me. I was stuck. They put me in a truck. They were taking me to the dog pound. When we got there they put me in a cage.

8. I tried to get out but the dog pound people had glazed the bars with hot sauce. Then one of the dog pound people were snoozing in the chair. He was holding the keys in his pocket. I tried biting on the cage but it almost burned my mouth.

9. He chomped and chomped but he burned his tongue. Finally he wiggled the cage a little bit and it opened up. There was a whole bunch of other dogs who needed saving. He grabbed the keys out of the man’s pocket with his mouth. He unlocked most of the doors but there was one more dog and the last key was not on the ring. So, he looked up and saw a big huge key.

10. The huge key had a big skull on it. He looked at the last door that had not been opened. There was a great big bull dog in there. He growled at the dog. The mean bull dog said “Get me out of this cage so I can tear you to parts.” The other dog said, “I will not get you out of this cage you are very mean to me. He ran out of the door.

11. When he got back to the park he saw all the dogs there. They were cheering. and had balloons in their paws. There was a great big cake there. All the dogs said “Happy B-Day.” How had he forgotten that it was his birthday?
