Recycling Industry Demand: PAPER 2800 tons per day of paper is consumed between 4 paper mills in SC. Of the 2800 tons consumed by SC paper mills, 90% is generated in NC and SC. 10 years ago these mills were pulling material in from NYC and Miami, FL. ANNUAL DEMAND: 952,000 tons Paper Mills

Lost Opportunity 348,000 tons of recyclable MSW materials were buried $12.5 million in wasted disposal fees by municipalities $47 Million in lost revenue for local government Total net loss over 3 years is $216,500,000 – just shy of a quarter billion dollars
