Aims and Objectives  Identify issues that prevent staff using knowledge sources effectively  Improve the knowledge available to staff in the workplace  Enable staff to improve and develop their information skills  Identify and develop a model of expert information services which can be applied across the NHS Board  Measure the impact that support from an information specialist and library service can make  Set up of a central service unit: A centrally managed service for Dumfries & Galloway NHS Libraries and partnership working with Bell College  Identify the information skills training needs of NHS Dumfries and Galloway staff
