8 Why not just do on PCILMS? The PCILMS is the formal structured part of the learning landscape. The mPortfolio platform, Mahara, is the reflective and social side. It allows the students to be creating and showcase what they have learned and talk about it. The mPortfolio and the PCILMS compliment each other in the educational landscape. 12 mPortfolios at PCI By following a few simple steps the students can begin to collect their artifacts and begin to develop their mPortfolio presence. This presence must be professional enough to allow them to share with their employers. Since the Mahara platform is international it is important that the students be given some guidance on what to fill out and what not to.
