What is Leadership? “Leadership is helping a community make progress or solve a problem.” What problems face your communities?

WHY INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP? What country is your shirt from? Have someone look at the label on your shirt and find where it was manufactured.

WHY INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP? Manufacturing – More than 5 million manufacturing jobs have moved overseas in the last 30 years Economy - Half of U.S. Debt owned by foreign countries Energy - Nearly 60% of US oil supply imported from abroad Public Health – Swine Flu (Asia-Mexico-US) Immigration – 36% of NYC residents foreign born
