1. Sub-Committee Members The following new Sub-Committee Members list was approved by the CIS president and vice president for membership activities. Our main goal in this year was to focus on Industry/Academic CIS membership motivations, by Identifying ways to keep industry professionals current with technology, and open our member’s eyes wide on what is happening in the industry. Therefor we planned to: I.Publish Computational Intelligence Magazine Articles II.Create Industry News Update Webpage At CIS Website III.Track CI And Industry Engagement News IV.Search For Success Stories of CI Application In Industry V.Organize CI/Industry Discussions/Plenary Talks VI.Collaborate With The Webinar and Yong Professionals Subcommittees For Webinars To Be Given By Industry Experts 2. Sub-Committee Work Plan

1.Evaluated and Ranked the success stories applications and selected the winner for Wrote the first draft of ICM article that focuses on the subcommittee activities since it started 3 years ago and future activities 3.Edited 5 videos for the CI industry/real applications discussion sessions, and posted in 4.Created the “Industry News and Success Stories “ Webpage At CIS Website and: –Posted 2014 success stories winner –Posted CI industry/real applications discussion sessions –Posted CI in industry news 5.Participated in the joint task force with young professionals and webinars subcommittees to provide industry experts to give webinars 2.1What we have done so far

This year will try to publish 2 articles: 1)An article about Industry Liaison: We put the first draft of the article that focuses on the subcommittee activities since it started 3 years ago and future activities 2) An article about What Is happening in the industry: This article will focus on the area of computational intelligence used in the industry around the world. 2.2Computational Intelligence Magazine Articles

To keep in touch with industry, will be looking for CI applied in industry news: 1)This news are expected to be collected by our subcommittee members or any of our CI society members if they come across any related events. 2.4Tracking CI And Industry Engagement News

Will continue searching for success stories in CI applications in Industry and real world to raise awareness and publicize such stories that are ideal technology transfer examples for the CIS. 2.5Success Stories Of CI Application In Industry

1)Arrange for presentations and hot topic discussion of CI Industrial applications to encourage both academia and industry CIS members to engage and discuss such as CI real-world applications or real-time implementation of CI algorithms. –2014 IEEE Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence (SSCI), Orlando, USA. 9 Dec - 12 Dec Will arrange with Prof. Haibo He, who is the General Chair of this symposium to hold a hot topics discussion session and an industry expert plenary talk CI/Industry Discussions

1)Invite some of the key industrial players as keynote speakers at our major conferences. 2)Requesting each major CI conference organizing committee to create: 2 hours slot for keynote speakers from industry as plenary talk. Explored the idea and the possibility of standardizing this with the CIS Conferences Committee to identify this as a mandatory requirement, but this still need more efforts to be achieved CI/Industry Plenary Talks

We started collaboration efforts with the webinars subcommittee to hold webinars given by invited industry leaders and experts. 2.7 Joint Task force with the webinar and young professionals subcommittee
