12 GIEEE Agreement Due to FCRA sections could not receive foreign funds Discussions at sidelines of IEEE R10 Meet Chiang Mai March 2013, India Council Meetings August, Dec 2013 IEEE India office to fund sections through “services agreement” section first to sign, revised agreement also signed Financial Reporting to GIEEE on fund utilization. Underutilization may lead to cutting back of grants.

13 Challenges ● Tax issue- New committee must take up ● Newsletter- Lack of volunteers to take up ● Website- Improvement and maintenance ● Student-Chapter Support, more support for Sbs volunteers reaching more number of SBs ● Membership Development crossing 6K barrier, 3K professional members barriers need for committed membership development committee ● Bidding for Region 10 Events like TENSYMP or TENCON or IEEE IJCNN etc technical conferences
