Reflexive Pronouns To show that a verb is reflexive in Spanish, se is attached to the end. (ex. lavarse) When you conjugate the verb from it’s infinitive form, the se is dropped and the correct pronoun for the subject is used. Ex. Lavarse -> (Yo) me lavo. Take the se off the verb and then conjugate the verb following the normal rules of conjugation (–AR verbs still have –AR endings, stem changing verbs still have stem changes, etc.) – (nosotros) Levantamos. 4.
