Selling grounds encourages regeneration and economic development –Been happening for a long time –NSJFC – 1994 –Breathing new life into communities –£1.25m investment –Walker homes –Edinburgh ripple effect

Danger of arguing contribution of sport to other agendas? Do we really participate in sport to socially or economically regenerate? Enjoyment, camaradarie, fitness, social interaction, winning Something you are good at!! Is sport only important because of its contribution to other agendas?

Does community football contribute to social and economic regeneration? –Education, Health, Crime, Jobs Is it aware of its contribution?

Regeneration companies/organisations need to be proactive in taking the agenda forward in partnership with community football to achieve joint outcomes.
