The track is designed for all users – but especially those who would like to incrementally build their capacity toward becoming a Welcoming America affiliate. Submit the form once you have responded to the questions. Each action provides a description with the points awarded and instructions for the action. Some actions ask you to read or watch content and respond with your thoughts. Others ask you to perform an activity in your community and describe what happened. Once you submit your information, points are automatically added to your account or team account.

The more points you earn, the more opportunity you have to show up on the monthly scoreboard as a top earner. You’ll also advance through levels as you accumulate points.

Every month, Welcoming America awards prizes to top individual and group winners. At the end of the year, there will be a grand prize! $100 to non-profit of your choice!

On the next page, choose whether or not the team will represent a 501-c-3 nonprofit. Groups that want to later apply for affiliate status will need to be a 501-c-3 or associated with one and will need to provide proof if their status.

Next, enter the name of the team you’d like to create, or check to see if your team is already on record. Once you search, if your team is already on record, you can request to join it.

Once you have created a new team, you can view the profile to manage your team profile information, and to manage team members and invite new members.
