Jan2007 – communicated target release date for BSCI (1) & BCMSN (3) updates June 2007 – communicated target release date for new ISCW (2) and ONT (4) courses. All courses will map to the new CCNP certification announced by Cisco

Cisco Confidential Session Number Presentation_ID Instructor Training Technical update training on the new content will take place between October/November and during the Virtual course update sessions will also be available to cover the differences between the current CCNP and the final content. - For CCNP 1 & 3 – training will be optional for existing instructors and required for new - For CCNP 2 & 4 – we will provide in-person and online training options for current instructors to update their knowledge on the new content. - For New instructors – a full training will be required

Cisco Confidential Session Number Presentation_ID Equipment for the new CCNP v5.0 The Development team is currently working on the lab equipment list requirements to teach all CCNP v5.0 courses The IOS for the new labs will be 12.4 The anticipated wireless equipment requirements will include Cisco’s latest lightweight solutions, with wireless LAN controllers and accompanying lightweight access points. VoIP equipment – will required a 2811 ISR router running VoIP image and IP phones (or Cisco IP Communicator) Academies that are currently purchasing new equipment are advised to purchase from the latest 2800 equipment list.

Cisco Confidential Session Number Presentation_ID Additional Details Equipment list will be ready mid October Updated Equipment list for the existing CCNP Academies will be released with upgrade options for the academies with existing equipment Like the current CCNP courses, the new courses can be taught in any order or can be adopted separately. Current certification exams will continue to be available thru December 31, Students can mix and match old and new cert exams to achieve CCNP cert.
