Cisco's primary business is in internetworking products, such as routers, bridges, and switches, VOIP solution, security solutions.  Head- quartered in San Jose, California. CCNA targets a wide audience of both students and professionals in IT and computer science background  (ending July 31, 2010) Cisco has 70,714 employees

All rights reserved.Cisco PublicCCNA rev 6 12 Course Objectives  The course is a focused coverage of the CCNA exam objectives as outlined on the Cisco website (www.cisco.com).  A foundation for learning is provided by an intense presentation of networking principles, the OSI model and TCP/IP.  Students will be presented the essential knowledge to configure and operate basic switched LANs and routed WANs.  The Cisco IOS, as it relates to both routers and switches, will be examined and practiced through a variety of exercises.
