Intel’s Answer to--? An ultrabook is a lightweight and thin ultraportable laptop. Ultrabooks are based in Intel specs. “Ultrabook” is an Intel trademark. Intel has put up 300 million dollars to encourage development.
Why an Ultrabook? Competes with tablets that use ARM processors Competes with Apple’s MacBook Air. Intel expects ultrabooks to have 40% of the market by the end of 2012.
