Welcome to Discrete Mathematics Honors Ms. Elsa Iglesias

What do you study in Discrete Mathematics?  Mathematics of Voting  Fair Division  Apportionment  Graph Theory with Routing Problems  Fractal Geometry  Statistics  Probability

How will my student be graded?  The grade will be a combination of: Tests(30%) Quizzes (15%) Notes (15%) Homework(10%) Journals(10%) Projects(20%)

Is there a state exam?  There is no state test for Discrete Math and Statistics. There will be a teacher made exam. There are no exam exemptions !  The final grade will be determined by averaging the numerical grade from each nine weeks (37.5%) and the final exam (25 %).

What if my student is struggling?  I am here almost every morning and every afternoon. They need to come and get help as soon as they have questions.

How can I reach you?  is the best to reach me:   My staff website on the TC Roberson website has all the assignments, upcoming tests, quizzes, projects, and power points.
