Change your house hold to an energy efficient place. Don't use the dryer. Wash clothes with cold water. Take mainly cool showers. Replace any incandescent light bulbs with Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs. Use the microwave. Turn off your lights when they aren’t being used. Regulate your home temperature. Clean or replace air filters on your AC unit at least once a month. Lower the thermostat on your water heater to 120 degrees and wrap it with an insulated blanket. Set refrigerator temperature at degrees and your freezer to 0-5 degrees. Use dishwashers instead of washing dishes by hand Turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth.
