Background Of the PRAGATI PRAGATI started in the year 1995 by a committed young people for development of SC/ST and downtroden people of Rayagada District. It was registed under Society Act, 1860 in th year It has also registered under FCRA Act in the year 2004 The organisation working in Rayagada District at present three block: Rayagada, Kolnara and Bissam Cuttack with the support of District Administration, NABARD and other Donors It has received support from SR Jindal Foundation

Affiliation with National and International Agencies PRAGATI is affiliated with the Concern World Wide an international agencies who supported for strengthening peoples initiative in MGNREGA PRAGATI worked with NABARD, XIM-B, UNICEF, UNFPA, CYSD-Bhubaneswar It has also good rapport with District Administration for the project RKVY- promotion hybrid seed,SRI with Agriculture Dept Alternative School for Dropout Student-Labour Deppt.

ORGANIZATION STRENGTH PRAGATI has good rapport with District Administration as well as community level. Local Based organisation having long vision to promote people Trained and Experienced Staff in implementing the projectsf projects Governing Body members are grassroot experience in rural development. Mobilized peoples organization (CBO)s like Farmers Clubs, Youth Clubs, WSHGs, Mahila Mandals, Cooperatives, GP level federations and block level federations which are instrumental.

FOCUS AREA Promotion of Livelihood among Rural Poor with local resources like land, water & forest. Women empowerment –Education, Socio Econonic upliftment and active participation in Political process Promotion of Health and hygiene knowledge of local people and ensuring improved health care facilities. Education for all Children adhering to their Rights and Adults basically political literacy to scale up livelihood security.
