Hi There !! Today you will learn something about reading !!

Theory depends on learning to read with a purpose, predict, skim, scan, extract, read and recognize functions, deduce meaning from context. teacher’s job to re-activate these skills by removing some of the barriers.

classroom procedures activate and encourage pupils to realize that reading can be fun. Mostly this happens while integrating reading with computer.

What do People Read? Put everything you can remember reading the previous day all types even reading labels, shopping list, address book, road signs, posters, articles, books etc. What you read?

Why do people read ? There are some main reasons for reading Reading for survival a matter of life or death immediate needs or wishes, signs instructions etc.

How do people read? The main types of reading are as follows: Skimming: quickly running one’s eyes over a text to get the gist of it. Scanning: quickly going through a text to find a particular information.

How do people read? Extensive reading: reading longer texts Intensive reading: reading shorter texts to extract information.

Computer is an electronic device that help us to draw pictures, write letters, play games, do calculation etc. Computer is an assembly of several parts such as monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. It is a device that runs on electricity and can perform calculation and store information. When computers were invented in 1940s, they were so large that they occupied whole rooms. Since then, they have been consciously improved and made smaller. Modern computer have more power and are no bigger than a book. Computer has an input advice to feed program and data into the computer. After the data is fed into computer it is then processed. The computer’s output is in the form of numbers, words or pictures display on the computer.
