Class Topics: 6 th Grade O Class 1: Finish Independent Task Sheet (December) O Class 2: State of the WL Class O Class 3: Honesty, Homework, and SOAP

1.Proud of the true language learning 2.Disappointed that some students are not on track with their time goals 3.Frustrated when students are disrespectful 4.Excited when I work with students in conversation groups 1.Many students are not on track to complete the 25 hour goal 2.Vocabulary packets are not used consistently 3.Students has strong task sheet grades 4.Students are growing in independence 1.We may have some honesty issues with homework 2.Students need better guidelines on vocabulary guides 3.Agendas help students to stay accountable 4.Many students are ready to pursue independent language learning 1.Students will be must be held accountable to fill in honest times 2.Vocabulary guides are mandatory during RS 3.Students will have graded task lists (agendas) every week so they can work independently

O Task: Find your recorded homework dates on the Rosetta Stone report. O Materials: Rosetta Stone Report (you will print), November/December homework sheet, highlighter, Taking a Closer Look Worksheet O Time: 15 minutes

Taking a closer look Directions: O 1. Print your RS report to printer 2051 O 2. Take your RS report, Nov/Dec homework, and a highlighter to a quiet place in the room O 3. Independently, find the dates you recorded in your RS report and highlight the date and time. O 4. When you finish, quietly come back to your seat O 5. Update your time thermometer while you wait for the class to come back together.
