LONG TERM GOAL  Adopt 21 ST Century approaches to enhance student’s appreciation of Geography.

SHORT-TERM GOALS  CHANGE MY QUESTION STRATEGIES TO MAKE MY STUDENTS CRITICAL THINKERS  MOTIVATE MY STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS DISCUSSIONS  ASSIGNING THEM TEAM WORK FOR PEER INTERACTION  TO BE ABLE TO ANALYSE AND DEDUCE AT THE END OF THE ASSIGNMENT ABOUT ITS APPLICATION (e.g. any particular type of vegetation found in particular area, the easiest possible route thru which export and import can take place etc.)

INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES & TASKS  PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH INDIVIDUAL PRESENTATIONS  PROVIDE MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS TO ANSWER CRITICAL QUSETIONS  PROVIDE THEM WITH TIME FOR GROUP DISCUSSIONS  MULTI MEDIA PRESENTATIONS WILL BE SHOWN  AUDIOVISUAL AIDS  CLASS ACTIVITY (as identifying particular locations on map, thru showing posters of like blast furnace in class and every student being given different task)

SOLUTIONS TO ANTICIPATE CHALLENGES CHALLENGES CHALLENGES  STUDENTS MIGHT DIVERT FROM TOPIC  THERE MAYBE SOME STUDENT WHO DO NOT WANT TO WORK TOGETHER  THERE MAYBE SOME STUDENTS WHO HESITATE IN CLASS PRESENTATIONS  UNSCHEDULED HOLIDAY SOLUTIONS SOLUTIONS  INTERESTING TOPICS TO INDULGE STUDENT IN DISCUSSION  INCENTIVES(MARKS) WILL BE GIVEN FOR PARTICIPATION  APPRECIATION AND ENCOURAGEMENT WILL BE DONE  TAKE EXTRA CLASSES OR PLAN HOMEWORK WITH READING TASK AT HOME AND ONLY DISCUSSION IN CLASS
