Topic : Present Perfect Tense

Lesson goal : Students will be able to learn and use present perfect tense

Lesson objectives : - to learn present perfect tense with question and negative forms - to know some new words - to develop 4 skills of language

We use the present perfect tense to talk about actions that started in the past and continue to the present. Present perfect tense For ex: I’ve grown flowers for two years now Now is 2005.

We form the present perfect tense with have / has + past participle/ ed Present perfect tense I You We They have eatenan apple. HeSheIt has eaten an apple.

Positive form I have done my homework. Negative form I haven’t done my homework. Question form Have you done your homework? Yes I have ; No I haven’t

Already / yet Have you eaten the apples yet? (question) ‘Yet’ goes at the END of the sentence or question. No, I haven’t eaten the apples yet. (negative) In the Present Perfect tense, we use yet with questions or negative (no) sentences.
