 CLO – STUDENTS WILL: o Demonstrate mastery of content from chapter 20 by answering the focus questions individually o Participate in an activity demonstrating the perils and challenges of factory work o Discuss the main ideas of chapter 20 in a large group  AGENDA o Focus Questions (15 – 20 minutes) o Factory Work Activity o Discussion o Reading Notes 21 o How to skim! o GIFT – Remaining class time to be spent reading chapter 21  HOMEWORK Read chapter 21 and complete reading notes

 Answer the three focus questions from chapter 20 in detail with evidence (don’t laundry list!)  When you’re finished write down at least one question you have regarding the material/chapter.
