Mid-term Review - Bruxelles, 23 March Who are we ?  Magistrate = municipal council = head of administration  b.i.t. is the IT- Resource of the municipality  strong emphasis on E-Government solutions with digital signature cards as partner of bos in Bremen  Digital signature cards have been already distributed to citizens (mainly students) in Bremerhaven  The city of Bremerhaven provides more than 30 different formulars with qualified digital signature to their citizens

Mid-term Review - Bruxelles, 23 March Holiday Request  Workflow from Saarbrücken has been used  Handling of holiday requests as such is not a big challenge  But the implementation of the workflow must be highly generic  Nearly every departement has its own „private“ workflow  Different signatures (SW-certificates, qual. digital signatures)  „Roll out“ means „copy and configure“  The application is running live in the b.i.t. in a pilot phase
