2.  Electronically tracks purchase requisition from submission to payment  Ability to electronically view the: ◦ approval workflow ◦ budget availability ◦ purchase order ◦ receipt of the good from the warehouse ◦ payment issued to vendor ◦ change orders No more trying to track down pieces of paper or manual effort to determine where it is in the signature approval process!

5.  LACOE will provide hands-on user training for Peoplesoft Requisitions in a lab as follows: ◦ 5/14/2013  11:30am-1:30pm  2:00-4:00pm  5:30-7:30pm ◦ 5/15/2013  8:30-10:30am  11:00am-1:00pm  The purchasing department will provide approver training in a lab : ◦ 6/17/2013: 2:00-4:00pm ◦ 6/18/2013: 1:00-3:00pm ◦ 6/19/2013: 2:00-4:00pm ◦ 6/20/2013: 1:00-3:00pm  Detailed training guides have been developed by the purchasing department  Training videos will be available online The goal is to have requesters enter requisition starting June 3 rd. They will not be released until June 28 th. Manual forms will run in parallel until full implementation, which is expected to be Oct 1, 2013.
